Depression

Depression is an illness, and its the root cause can be complex to understand. Some people may get through it in months while others suffer for years. It can be so debilitating for some people to th degree where they become confined to the home, unable to work and some have been required to live in a psychiatric ward for their own safety.

There are many options out there and you just have to find what is right for you, whether it is taking medication, changing diet, talking to someone or all combined you can get through it.

The word depression is used rather flippantly; some people use this term when feeling low, but depression doesn't just make you feel low, it can stop you from living; it suppresses the immune system, lowers energy levels and vitality. It can make you want to isolate yourself from the world, cut off contact and have no reason for doing anything or even for living.

We all get periods when we feel low, perhaps outside influences have caused problems or there are situations and circumstances which can make us feel low. Sometimes feeling low can be altered if we understand the root of the cause and change these matters.

There are factors that you can explore which may help change mood and hormonal levels.

Some steroids can be a cause for depression as they change the body's imbalance so can cause aggression, frustration and depression. It is worth being aware of any changes emotionally if you do take any testosterone enhancers as they can be unsuitable for you.
