Halitosis (Bad Breath)
Halitosis is the medical term for bad breath, and is in fact a more common problem for people who are obese which is thought because those who are obese have a poor diet consisting of sugary and fatty foods which can cause a dry mouth which causes bad breath.
Halitosis may initially disappear after cleaning the teeth, using a mouthwash, mints or mouth spray but it is still very likely to return. It is important to keep the mouth and in particular the tongue clean to help control Halitosis getting rid of bad bacteria in the mouth.
People who also been on the Atkins diet or cut carbohydrates may find that for a short period they suffer with bad breath which is caused by the change in diet.
Parsley has been known to help people who suffer with bad breath, remember brushing your teeth wont help because it comes from the digestive system.
