Colds/Flu
We are referring to colds and flu together purely due to the similarity of some symptoms; but as you are aware flu can be far more debilitating and serious than a cold.
The illnesses are caused by numerous viruses. The flu may also cause headaches, exhaustion, a high temperature you may even find you have joint ache and when moving around feel 'extra heavy' and dizzy.
The flu may also cause you to be stuck in bed for a couple of weeks, where as a cold may pass within 24 hours.
Linus Pauling author of 'Vitamin C and The Common Cold' claimed that 1000mg would decrease the risk of actually getting a cold, but since his study it has been found that Vitamin C only helps decrease the severity of a cold. But at ShapeNoBull we think however it helps we would add this to our supplement regime and even try taking 1000mg in the morning and 1000mg in the afternoon.
The best thing is to listen to your body, some people are more prone to colds more than others, plus your lifestyle can make an impact on your health.

Other small factors can help reduce risk of illness; there are germs lurking around us and in the gym who knows where hands have been! Wipe equipment before and after use.
