What is it?

 

 Zinc is an essential mineral. It is found in the every single cell in our body. It is commonly known for preventing and reducing cold/flu symptoms as it improves white blood cell count.

Zinc is needed for numerous functions of the body, but is not a nutrient our body can make, hence the need for supplementing.

Where can I buy it? 

 

You can buy it from health shops and large supermarkets. It comes either on its own or it can be found it multivitamins. Normally found in the dose of 15mg.  

 

Ways of taking it?

 

 Taken in a tablet form, you generally find this in a multivitamin (check the strength of yours) we would suggest 15mg a day in the morning, which seems to be the general amount suggested. Depending on your body and why you take it, the ShapeNoBull team have taken up to 30mg; one 15mg in the morning and one before bedtime.

 If taken on an empty stomach this can make you feel sick.
