Alpha Lipoic Acid
| What is it? |
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ACA) is very rarely found in foods; it is a powerful antioxidant and can also help with energy levels. It also helps with your mood.
The amazing thing about this supplement is that is affects every cell, and aides in using other vitamins; B, C and E, because it is a fat and water soluble it has wide range of uses.
It even recycles other antioxidants: CoQ10, Vitamin C & E, thereby extending their life in the body, so you benefit more.
ACA is anti-ageing and may help repair the nervous system as well as improving cell membrane fluidity and the flow of blood in the nerve tissue.
ACA is also required for the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates to produce ATP, with the increase of ATP production the better the body can recover post-workout, so the body can tolerate more physical activity during a workout.
Amazingly it has the ability to repair damage caused by strokes, and slow the process of Alzheimers as it can regenerate nerve cells.
Not only does this powerful antioxdiant protect the skin from ageing, but keeps skin young and resilient: helping the production and health of collagen to kee skin supple, keeping skin youtful and firm.
