What is it? |
Saw Palmetto is a palm tree and the berries are used to create the herbal supplement. The actrive ingredient includes fatty acids and plant sterols.

What would I take it for? |
Saw Palmetto is mainly known for its prostate health benefits. In many Western countries it is used for the relief of prostate enlargement and Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH). Although studies continue with saw Palmetto helping symptoms of BPH, it is thought that it can help reduce urinary pain, stregthen urinary flow and helping the bladder to empty, plus it could even encourage the prostate to return to a normal size.

Available in the form of capsule or tablet. It is taken on its own or found in formulas which encourage the libido, and health supplements specifically designed for men
