What is it? |
The majority of Turmeric comes from India; it is a key ingredient for most curry dishes which gives them their colour and wonderful flavours. The root of the Turmeric is part used for medicinal purposes.
Natives once used it by sprinkling Turmeric on their shoulders during ceremonial dances!
The active ingredient of Turmeric is curcumin.
Used as a form of complementary medicine it has been known to help vision, rheumatic pains, constipation and skin problems.

What would I take it for? |
This is not a well-known anti-inflammatory, but is a great alternative if you are unable tothe well known and popular Glucosamine.
