Guarana
What is it?
Guarana is very similar to caffeine. It contains two active ingredients: theobromine and theophylline make. It is well known for providing extra energy to the body
Where does it originate/where would it be found?
Guarana is grown in northern Brazil and is made from the seeds of the plant.
What would I take it for?

Where can I buy it?
Available from most health shops. Can be bought on its own as bars and drinks, usually found mixed with other herbs as a fat burner.
Ways of taking it
Available as energy bar and drinks or taken as a capsule. Can even be made into a tea.
How much should I take and when?
Up to 150mg can be taken daily. It would be preferable to take in the morning to give you energy for the day and so it does not disturb your sleep pattern.
Anything else I need to know?
Not at the moment.
Adverse Effects:
- May cause insomnia
- If you are not used to stimulants it may cause symptoms such as palpitations, trembling anxiety.
- Not recommended for people with heart problems.
- Long term use may cause infertility.

This is excellent for energy and an amazing fat burner when combined with other ingredients. Just be cautious if you havent taken this before.
