Blueberries
Blueberries act as a fantastic antioxidant, so helps protect the body from free radicals. Which means they also protect the skin so are also great for anti-ageing.
With any fruit, the sooner to it is eaten straight after being picked as that is when they are the richest with their flavours and packed full of the nutrients. The longer they are kept the more they begin to loose their goodness.
Adding them to porridge in the morning or putting into a Smoothie is an easy way to incorporate them into your diet.
