Cinnamon is a spice often used in cooking which dervies from the Evergreen Tree. Can be purchased ground or as sticks.
| What is it good for? |
Researchers have found that, amazingly, Cinnamon fights blood vessel inflammation and also promotes insulin metabolism.
It actually contains antioxidants called phenols which help to promote healthy blood vessels.
There is ongoing research to understand the benefits of Cinnamon for those who suffer with diabetes and high cholesterol.
