Skin Cancer & Caffeine - 7th April 2008
Rutgers University in New Jersey, found a combination of caffeine and exercise gave protection against skin cancer, more so than just either one on their own. This was discovered when the University carried out an experiment with mice (although the outcome can not be compared to actual people).
It is not wise to stop using the sunscreen but if skin cancer can be prevented by a mix of caffeine and exercise it is definitely worth a try. In today's society, there is an average of about 1 in 5 people suffering from some form of cancer in their life.
Statistics have shown around 70,000 people in the UK, alone, suffered with skin cancer in recent years.
